Ok, so I have been wanting to do this project in my sons room...he desperatley needs a big boy room. He is 2 and still has his crib in his room (which he has never slept in).
Well I haven't found any inspiration for his room yet so I was looking through my husbands ties and I noticed he has a lot that are the colors of my daughters room (thats kinda funny!) so.....Here is how it turned out, not too bad for some free ties and the pin in the middle I got at Wal-Mart for 5$!
This is a good project for Goodwill or even TJ Maxx has ties for 5 dollars on clearance. Most of these ties I splurged on at Steinmart (for my hubby!) they were around 15$ a piece, and they already have their ties color coordinated for you. Lu, Lu, Luv Steinmart!
Cute idea! I'm in the same boat with my boys--they're 3, and they're in their "daybed" portion of their cribs. I'm hoping to get my old bunkbeds from my parents' house soon... their room is so sad right now. I'll keep watching you for some inspiration!
