"The Curse!"

WARNING!!!!! THIS IS A BEFORE PICTURE! I took a picture of all my rooms when we moved in our house 3 years ago and now I am glad because I can always find some before pictures when I forget to take them!

And this is the AFTER incase you wondering....After reading the Nester, I took her advise and called my Mom and asked if she had any white dishes and this what she gave me.....

In my Family we call it "The Curse" and "The Curse" is, that we can never say no to free furniture or dishes from anyone!( and btw this hutch was free, yet another piece of furniture noone wanted from my Grandmother.)  My sister does not have "The Curse" but my Mother and I do! Which now I am finding out is a good thing.  I received every white dish above for free from my Mom...She is like my own personal Goodwill but better.... if you think free is better.  Not to mention she was more than happy to get rid of all these, since having the The Curse for over 60 years will get your house full of a lot of furniture and dishes that you don't need.  So call your Mom today or anyone you know that has The Curse!

BTW...I did Modge Podge the H which I got from HL..Duh and also purchased the pears above from HL for 2$......2$ peeeeeple!  GO GET SOME!

  9. Ha! I'm cursed as well. Most of the time it's a good thing, but I do end up with a lot of junk. Anyway, I just posted the FFF results from last week and chose your reupholstered bench as the winner. Lovely piece. Thanks for sharing it.

  14. My mum is the same - she's just given me a whole lot of stuff that's 50+ years old, and I'll cherish it for many years.
