Phase 2

It's official I am almost the mother of a FIRST GRADER, sniff! Even though, my daughter was in Kindergarten last year, I feel as though I am entering a new phase.

No more half days of school, its the real deal all the way to 3:00. No more naptime. You are going to Camp this summer. And you even know how to read so now Daddy and I can't spell things out in conversation when we don't  want you to know what we are talking about!

You are officially growing up. For some reason I thought I would have some sort of control over this, or that it really wouldn't happen, at least not this fast, but I am learning how wrong I am.

This is about as proud as one can be of themselves!

Grace your life long friend and cousin! (your first graduation together, but not the last... 2 more to go!) with Sis. Kirby the Kindergarten teacher!

The whole Kindergarten class of ACA 2010 ;)

Lined up and ready to go!

Oh I can only imagine how fast the years will fly by the next time I see you do this!

Mommy and Daddy and a whole bunch of people are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished over the last 6 years. Now on to PHASE 2 of motherhoood!
I know its not going to be as easy from here on spiritually, emotionally, and especially financially!
No matter what happens, my prayer is that God will give us the wisdom we need to train you up in the way you should go!

Proverbs 22:6, btw this is a promise, not just a possibility ;) Thank you God for your WORD and for Kennedy!

Just wanted to officially thank you for making me CRY my eyes out today. =) Kids just grow up waaaaaay TOO fast! I do feel as if my heart is walking outside of my body now that Bradyn is walking, running, climbing and TALKING...but I can only imagine how you feel. Kennedy is such a sweet little girl. She's is just an absolute doll and everyone loooooves her!!!

I love that first picture, her expression says it all! My daughter is finishing kindergarten too but she doesn't have a cute graduation. Congratulations!

It's hard to believe how fast time goes! Seems like just last week we were sitting in the hospital with you guys when Kennedy was born. I'll be right there with you next year!

Oh yes, the years will fly. You will wake up like me, in the blink of an eye, and her little brother will be wearing HIS high school cap and gown.

But they are WONDERFUL years, and I promise that phase two is as exciting as phase one, albeit busier. (I'm also a living testimony of God's provision of those extra finances that you wrote about... All that I've needed His hands have provided...)

Enjoy phase II Mom!
Oh, and she was adorable with her cap and curls!
