Inspired Nook & some spray paint!

We have one of those "nooks" in our kitchen and I have never known quite what to do with it.  It is a little small for a table but too big to leave as a pass thru.  So, shopping the house I put 2 wicker chairs my MIL gave me and believe it or not I actually BOUGHT the table in the middle from the Pottery Barn Outlet. Nothing was flowing so I went to Blog Land and starting looking for inspiration and of course I found some!

This is BEFORE....see, I told you it was lame!

I am sure by looking at the pic alone you can tell where the  inspirations came from.  And some just came because I happened to have some cream and black spray paint in the garage.  I still have a request for my dear Sweet mother to make me some INSPIRED Pottery Barn pillows with the numbers on them but ,for now I had to borrow my Rooster pillows from my bench for affect .

So by shopping the house and a trip to purchase some Fabric that only cost 2.24 cents a yard, along with some spray paint I already had, I only spent around 24.00 for a much more finished  and purposeful space! Thanks Blog Land!  Keep the ideas  coming.

And another inspiration to add,  a chandelier in front of the window but OBVIOUSLY I haven't found one that fits the space or style so I thought I would paint one in there for visionary purposes.  Can't you just see that Stylin' thing in the next Pottery Barn Issue!

OMG!!! This is FABULOUS!!! I love what you've done and this is great inspiration to send back out to blogland. And yes, blogland is awesome, because if we have something worth enjoying...it's worth sharing so someone else might enjoy it too. A chandelier is a great idea...or you might enjoy simply a "candle-eer" so you don't have to worry about wiring.

Love it! I like the idea of the chandelier! If you put up a chandelier I would remove the lamp table...more room for that wonderful cup of coffee and a good book! =)

This looks great. You might consider one of those inspirational phrases or words above the window on the wall. That would be a great touch.
